2011 New Year’s Resolutions

I almost never do new year’s resolutions, because I usually end up ignoring them once the hangover on Jan 1st is behind me. But I’ll give it a try this year, and publicly. Maybe that’ll help. So let’s see what I manage to actually do from this list.

  • Drink more water and tea. And while you’re at it, reduce intake of Red Bull, Coke, etc.
  • Read more. At least one book per month. And not just non-fiction! Get back that love for books.
  • Watch less TV. This got really annoying in 2010. Way too much.
  • Meet with friends more often. Life’s too short.
  • Get some training/education started again. Will probably be personal coaching or certifications (ITILv3, PMA, etc.).
  • Take more time off work. Life seriously is too short, even if work is a lot of fun and very rewarding.
  • Take up that daily morning workout again.
  • Take a greater interest in local politics, not just world affairs.
  • Take time to cook again more often (with friends and alone).
  • Don’t buy a new car. Seriously.

alone). I hope so! I cannot host all of our culinary events all the
      time ;)

“daily morning workout” …is it allowed to laugh? it’s
      such an obvious joke *ggg*
